boston has been a city i have wanted to visit for a while now and lucky for me, i got to go this weekend! it was my boyfriend and i's one year anniversary so we decided to drive to boston for the day. !
the first thing i noticed about boston was all the beautiful buildings. everything is brick! kinda like new york but cleaner and more spread out.
we did A LOT of walking! i also noticed that boston has really cute market/food halls type of places. think chelsea market on steroids. there also happened to be a farmer's market happening and can i just say that all the produce there was SO cheap! you can get 7 cucumbers for $1. that's unheard of in nyc. we did a lot of exploring of beacon hill. it was the cutest area it reminded me of larchmont in LA but with way less people. we then went to bunker hill which was also a small area that i could deff see myself living in. it was very sf vibes.
when i travel i tend to compare places to other places i have been to before (which is a really bad habit, i know) and i felt i did that a little with boston but something was different this time. boston might be one of my favorite places i have visited. i know that once i feel like i am done with nyc i will end up moving to boston! :)
ps. i realize that all the photos i took are of buildings but i thought they were so pretty! also i'm new at documenting everything i do so i ended up forgetting to shoot a lot of the things we did.. oops..
